In addition to having sat as a judge in every county in the State of Oregon I have sat as a judge in every type of trial court in the State of Oregon. I have heard thousands of cases involving every type of dispute.
I love my State, people and my job as an arbitrator and mediator. I love helping people resolve their problems. It is not always easy but it is always rewarding. Even in those cases where we are unable to settle, most often the mediation is rewarding for the parties, as they are better prepared to move forward and, as often happens, the mediation eventually leads to a successful settlement.
I do my very best to make this experience one that is as stress free as possible for all sides. I have been involved in every kind of case imaginable and am willing to help mediate any dispute other than child custody cases - my old compassionate heart cannot take those cases anymore.
I charge $200.00 per hour. I do not have a set up fee. I do not have a cancellation fee. I do not charge for travel time in the Portland - Albany area. If I am requested to travel beyond these distances I charge mileage, meals and motel (if necessary) but I do not charge hourly while I travel. |
